The Christian Conference of Asia (CCA) invites applications to attend the Ninth Summit of the Congress of Asian Theologians (CATS), which will be held at Thulhiriya, Ambepussa, in Sri Lanka from 5 to 10 August, 2019.
The theme of the CATS-IX is: ‘Reconciliation, Renewal and Restoration: Divine Indicative and Human Imperative.’
The subthemes will be:
- Reconciliation: Towards the Harmony of Creation
- Renewal: Towards the Fullness of Life
- Restoration: Towards Affirming the Will of God.
Initiated by the Christian Conference of Asia in 1997, CATS is a triennial summit of Asian theologians and the Asian theologians in Diaspora.
The CATS-IX will bring together 100 Asian theologians on a common platform.
It is expected that the coming together of Asian theologians could help stimulate new and innovative theological thinking among theologians, including budding theologians across Asia as well as in the Diaspora.
Those who are interested to attend the CATS-IX should send their application with the necessary endorsements and relevant details.
The last date for receiving applications is 1 May 2019.
