Massive Earthquake in Bohol and Cebu, Philippines

CCA is sad and concerned at the news of the 7.2-magnitude earthquake that struck the central island of Bohol on Tuesday morning, leaving more than 70 dead, toppling buildings and historic churches and sending terrified residents into panic. We are very distressed to know that extensive damage also hit densely populated Cebu city, causing deaths when a building in the port and the roof of a market area collapsed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with our brothers and sisters in Cebu and Bohol in these trouble times. We pray for all of you and for the bereaved families. May God's comforting presence be with you.
May the Lord be your strength and refuge.
