CCA releases a volume on ‘Echoes of Nicaea: Enduring Faith and Embracing Unity’

Chiang Mai, Thailand: The Christian Conference of Asia has released its latest publication, Echoes of Nicaea: Enduring Faith and Embracing Unity.
The 482-page book is a compilation of academic papers presented during the Tenth Congress of Asian Theologians (CATS-X), held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
CATS-X centred on the theme “Nicaea 1700: Enduring Faith and Embracing Unity”, along with three subthemes: “Ecclesial Synchrony: Oneness in Faith, Witness, and Withness”; “Biocentric Solidarity: Covenantal Bond for Cosmic Wholeness”; and “Cybergenic Synergy: Envisioning Humanity and Digital Wellness”.
The contributors to this volume examined the historical, doctrinal, and contemporary significance of the Nicene Creed through diverse presentations and in-depth discussions.
This valuable resource includes almost all the papers presented at the Asian theological summit, which offer theological reflections on the intersections between faith and Asia’s emerging socio-cultural realities.
The volume provides critical insights into the continued relevance of the Nicene Creed in addressing the pressing challenges of today, including those in digital, ecological, and ecclesial contexts.
An e-copy of the publication, Echoes of Nicaea: Enduring Faith and Embracing Unity, can be downloaded from the CCA website at www.cca.org.hk. (Ecumenical Resources)
