CCA Calls Applications for Young Ambassadors of Peace in Asia Training
The Christian Conference of Asia is inviting young people of 20-30 years of age to send in applications for the Young Ambassadors of Peace in Asia (YAPA) training to be held on June 12-18, 2016 at Payap University in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
YAPA will provide opportunities for young peacemakers of Asia and have been designed to enable young Asians to promote and create a culture of peace in their home communities and beyond. The proposed outcome is to create sustainable networks of young peace activists as ambassadors of peace with increased levels of competence in working with and within conflict affected communities in Asia.
CCA is looking for 25 young peace ambassadors that are motivated to further hone their skills in peacebuilding and conflict resolution. Youth that have a strong will and background in peacebuilding may submit their application to CCA headquarters by May 14th, 2016.
